The Choir Remembers….

Ray Jago
The Brixham Orpheus Male Voice Choir wishes to pass on its condolences to all the family of Ray Jago who passed away on Thursday 10 January 2019. We understand that he passed away peacefully after a long illness and period of ill health surrounded by his family. Ray was a long serving BOMVC member holding many offices including that of Secretary, a post that has since been divided into three different roles of Secretary, Concert Secretary and Archivist because of the huge workload involved. His enthusiasm and commitment to the choir are very much remembered to this day.
A thanksgiving service is being held at Fore Street Methodist Church on Thursday 24 January at 2.00pm. All enquiries to Stockman & Loram Funeral Directors – 01803 882385.

Margaret Valerie Lewis
The choir also paid tribute yesterday to one of its more recent loyal followers, Margaret Valerie Lewis. Mother of BOMVC member, David Lewis, some choir members attended her funeral in Chepstow Methodist Church to pay tribute to this lovely lady.

Alasdair Anderson, Chairman, BOMVC – 19 January 2019
