Choir Celebrates 64 Years

The Choir held this year’s Annual Dinner at the Redcliffe Hotel, Paignton celebrating its 64th year since its formation in 1954. Attended by 75 choir members and their guests the evening was a great success raising £215.00 in the raffle for choir funds. This is an occasion for the choir socialise and it was lovely to welcome old friends, in particular Life member Alec Pine and Lynn and Donn Barr.

Tribute must be paid to the choir’s Treasurer, Mrs Carolyn Morgan who once again organised the evening in its entirety, ensuring that every minor detail was taken into account, everything was in its correct place and as a result it all worked like a well-oiled machine. As a bouquet of flowers was presented to her the choir gave her a standing ovation, a well-deserved acknowledgment for all her hard work and effort.

The once again are very appreciative of all that the Redcliffe Hotel do for the choir on the night and look forward to returning there for next year’s Annual Dinner.
