On Saturday evening (9th Dec) the choir returned to the Methodist Church in Fore Street, Brixham after a couple of years absence for their ‘Sing Christmas’ Concert. Joined by Ell’s Angels Ladies Choir from Kingswear, the concert was in aid of Childrens Hospice SouthWest raising £700.00. Christmas means many things to many people but the opportunity to join together to sing popular carols and Christmas music is a calendar date for many Brixham people and the choir thank all those who were in attendance. They now take a well-earned break but will be back in the New Year busy adding some new songs to their repertoire.
The final event of the year is their Christmas Coffee Morning in the Christian Community Centre, Fore Street, Brixham on Saturday 23 December between 10.100 and 12.00 noon. This will be an opportunity to look out for some last-minute presents as well as a cup of tea or coffee and to meet up with friends and acquaintances to wish them the very best for the festive season.
Finally, may I take this opportunity to wish all those who follow and support the choir a very Happy Christmas and a very healthy and peaceful New Year and we look forward to meeting again in the New Year.
